We are looking to grow our reliable, self-motivated and customer focused team. Urthpact is currently recruiting for the position of Automation Technician. This position is key to growing and maintaining our new product portfolio. As an Automation Technician at Urthpact, you would be responsible for the growth and success of our automation lines that bring our new products to market. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Be a resource for diagnostic troubleshooting activities on assembly automation equipment
  • Facilitate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic repairs to assembly automation equipment
  • Interface with internal/external engineers to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and improve on the overall performance of the equipment
  • Debug and diagnose issues with Allen Bradley PLC
  • Work with assembly line operators to maintain daily production operations and assembly through preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Report on status and continuous improvement actions during daily production meeting
  • Develop and/or update procedures for assembly and maintenance of equipment
  • Work together with engineering to implement continuous improvement actions for the work cell
  • Provide training to assembly line operators to improve their ability to keep the lines running as efficiently as possible
  • Maintain spares for automation equipment to reduce downtime occurrences
  • Performs preventive maintenance on assembly equipment to reduce mean time between failures

  • Ability to use various types of precision measuring equipment
