We are looking to grow our reliable, self-motivated and customer focused team. UrthPact is currently recruiting for the position of Project Engineer. This position is key to growing and maintaining our new product portfolio. As a Project Engineer at UrthPact, you would be responsible for the successful completion of engineering projects that bring our new products to market. Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Assure engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide manufacturing support for programs released to volume manufacturing
  • Provide tactical problem solving for in-house manufacturing challenges and customer application problems
  • Qualify new molds, equipment and processes for volume production
  • Author manufacturing procedures
  • Coordinate with Quality team on Quality process documentation for relevant projects
  • Develop specifications for product and equipment required for each project
  • Source and manage suppliers for molds, equipment and materials through new product phase
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base to become the company expert in your field
  • Create and grow relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with Operations team to move new products into volume manufacturing


  • Proven work experience as Project Engineer, Project Manager or relevant role
  • BS degree in Engineering – mechanical or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment ideally focused on injection molding and automation
  • Proven track record of relationship building with suppliers and customers
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at a time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional overall organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel (10-20%) as conditions allow

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
